PURPOSE:To provide the alloy powder with high coercive force without incorporating rare earth elements thereto by specifying the blending ratio of Zr, Hf and Co and transforming its structure into a microcrystalline one having specified average grain size. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the alloy powder is formed of M which denotes Zr and Hf, Co and impurities, and its constitution is regulated to the one expressed by formula MxCo100-x (13<=x<=24). Its structure is made into a microcrystalline one in which the average grain size of the powder is regulated to <=5000Angstrom , and its coercive force is regulated to >=1 KOe. In this way, the alloy powder for a bond magnet of high coercive force including no rare earth elements can be obtd. The alloy powder is manufactured, e.g. by spraying the molten metal of the alloy on a single roll rotating at high speed, rapidly solidifying the molten metal and pulverizing the obtd. thin strip. |
