发明名称 NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the charge and discharge efficiency and cycle characteristic of a nonaqueous secondary battery by providing in the outermost layer a metal layer which readily combines with alkaline metal to convert into alloy, and in the inscribed layer a metal layer which does not or scarcely combines with the alkaline metal to convert into alloy. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode for a nonaqueous secondary battery is in the shape of a fiber of concentrical structure of at least more than two layers and a metal layer 2 which readily combines with alkaline metal to convert into an alloy is provided in the outermost layer within the layers and a layer 1 which does not or scarcely combines with the alkaline metal to convert into the alloy is provided in that layer which is inscribed to the outermost layer. A metal current collector which is not swollen nor broken when the alkaline metal is converted into or recovered from the alloy is preferably provided as a core and a layer which converts the alkaline metal into the alloy and which recovers the alkaline metal from the alloy is provided outside the core, and also the layers are so molded that the true electrode reaction surface area is larger than the apparent electrode area. A negative electrode for a high performance nonaqueous secondary battery excellent in charge and discharge efficiency and cycle characteristic is thus obtained.
