<p>A multidimensional address generator for generating one-dimensional addresses respectively corresponding to P1 x P2 x ... x PN data of a predetermined region of an N-dimensional entire data array (N is a positive integer larger than one) which has Q1 x Q2 x ... x QN data (P1, ... and PN and Q1, ... and QN are positive integers and P1 </= Q1, ... and PN </= QN).
