PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving sheet superior in resistance to water and chemicals and easy in handling by forming a specified coating layer on a base film. CONSTITUTION:The coating layer formed on at least one side of the film base comprises an aqueous ethylenic ionomer resin, halogenated polyolefin containing in an amount of 10 - 80 wt.%, and a copolymer composed essentially of ethylene, and unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its ester as structural units, and a compo sition of a graft copolymer grafted with a compound having unsaturated bonds containing alkoxysilane or glycidyl group, and a composition of at least one of nonaqueous polyester copolymer having a glass transition point of 5 - 90 deg.C, thus permitting the obtained base film to be low in density and rich in white ness, and the obtained coating layer to be superior in adhesion to the base layer, supporting body and the photosensitive material layer, and the obtained image receiving sheet to be superior in mechanical strength, and resistances to water and chemicals. |
