The lamp reflector is divided into a series of sections arranged in rings around the rotational axis, or in parallel strips extending along the symmetry axis. Each of the sections exhibits the light intensity distribution, so that the light intensity of the lamp is practically constant in the vicinity of the symmetry plane. Pref. the reflector has a number of facettes (F) over part of its surface, the remainder provided as a chain reflector (K). ADVANTAGE - Provides uniform light output.
