ANGULAR HOMOKINETIC COUPLING

This invention relates to an angular homokinetic coupling with spherical journals and wafers, designed for transmissions of autovehicles, machine-tools and technical equipment. According to the invention, the coupling consists of two identical shafts with two arms that follow four rectilineal, slanted semi-channels; at their intersection, there are four spherical wafers mounted on two journals articulated through a pin; the axial connection between the shafts is done, on the one hand, through semi-spherical protrusions of the wafer-carrying journals, which, through a pin articulation, create a spherical centring area and, on the other hand, through some centring pivots fastened axially with spherical head screws and screwed caps; the contact surface between the centring pivots and the spherical centring area can be spherical or cylindrical.
