摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly and rapidly shift to laser beam machining by changing laser beam output conditions of piercing machining in the course of piercing machining so that the laser beam output conditions of piercing machining at the time of finishing of piercing machining is made coincident with or brought close to the laser beam output conditions of product machining. CONSTITUTION:When a step 301 inputs conditions Q1 and Q2, a step 302 discriminates whether an output system is a mode to change the laser beam output conditions or a mode to keep the same constant at the time of piercing machining. When the laser beam output conditions are changed at the time of piercing machining, the shift is made to a step 307 and the piercing machining time T1 and Q=Q1 are set and after the lapse of preheating time T2, a set value is changed to Q=Q+ Q. Steps 309 and 311 then add increment Q of the laser beam output conditions for every increment for the remaining machining time up to product machining and a step 310 discriminates piercing finishing and is shifted to a step 305. By this method, the laser beam output conditions can be increased gradually in the course of machining and the piercing machining time can be set short.
