The mounting consists of a tubular jacket equipped on its outer wall with the appropriate finish and provided on the inside with an insert which has radially projecting arms, the ends of which are fastened by welding to the inner wall of the jacket of the mounting; the insert is equipped with an axial passage of polygonal section in correspondence with the section of the rod for actuating the valve for opening and closing the tap, on which rod it is coupled. In the lateral wall of the jacket it is possible to arrange a sleeve for seating and fastening the actuating arm of the control. <IMAGE>
