Mass flowmeter with replaceable vibration tube - coupled via ranges to connection tubes rigidly attached to housing at least partially enclosing vibration tube

A mass flowmeter has at least one vibration tube (1) carrying the measurement flow with its ends connected to connection tubes rigidly attached to a housing at least partially enclosing the vibration tube. The vibration tube is connected to a pref. electromechanical vibration stimulator and electrical transducers measuring the phase of the vibrations at at least two measurement points. The vibration tube is rigidly attached to the housing via a removable connection. It has flanges (2, 3) at either end which can be connected to counter flanges (4, 5) on the connection tubes (6, 7). ADVANTAGE - Enables part subject to wear, i.e. vibration tube, to be replaced.
