<p>A method of driving a slide in a hydraulic press, wherein stabilized parallelism of the slide to a bed is maintained constantly. According to this method, when the uneven loads acting on respective cylinders (2) are less than the pressure capacities, a specified hydraulic cylinder is made a master and the other hydraulic cylinders are made slaves to thereby perform a master-slave control, and, when the uneven loads exceed the pressure capacities, a hydraulic cylinder subjected to the highest load is made a master and the other hydraulic cylinders are made slaves to thereby perform a master-slave control.</p> |
