The hand-operated wood felling and/or recovery truck comprises two interconnected wheels and a lever arm engaging with the wheel connection and provided if required with a handle and brake. The connection of the two wheels (1) is designed as a U-shaped bridge (4) wherein the wheels are mounted on the outer ends (19) of the U-arms (20). The lever arm (2) extends on one side at right angles to the bridge (4) and engages in the centre area (5) of its U arc. A nose (6) for holding the tree gripper is mounted perpendicular to the u-shaped bridge (4) in the centre (5) of the arc substantially at right angles to the lever arm (2). The bridge is pref. a tubular structure. USE/ADVANTAGE - The device for wood felling and recovery of timber can be effortlessly operated by one person and provides the necessary ground clearance for use on uneven ground.
