摘要 The movement of the reciprocating yarn guide system, to feed a number of yarns for cross winding to a number of bobbins clamped coaxially on a spindle, has two pairs of rails for the straight guide path which extend over the working length, parallel to the spindle axis. The rails intersect in each of the path gaps between two stroke lengths. A number of reciprocating yarn guides ride in each pair of rails, with the same direction of movement. The rail sections facing each other, from both pairs, are close together along the stroke length, parallel to the spindle axis, and form a passage for the reciprocating yarn guide driven by the spirals of the drive roller as working rails, linked to bridging rails at their ends to the next stroke length. Outside the working length, the rails of each pair are joined together by deflection points at a change-over zone and, at the reverse movement, all the guides follow the same direction. The guide is driven along the pair of rails through a groove in the spiral grooved roller to advance and reverse the yarn guide over the working length. ADVANTAGE - The yarn guide life is extended as there are low deceleration and acceleration forces applied at the change-over zones.
