The tillage element (80) provides better penetration, inversion of soil and improved ploughing as compared with a conventional disc plough having concavely curved rotary discs (10). The invention also relates to tilling apparatus using a plurality of such tillage elements (80) and description is given as to how the tillage elements (20) can be used in such apparatus in combination with a leg (14) provided with a point with the tillage element being pivotable readily between positions, permitting both left- and right-hand ploughing alternatively to be carried out.</p> |
