The heat is intended to be tapped from a boiler plant or other heat generator, through the wall of the boiler or other heat generator, by means of a circuit using liquid metal as the medium for transferring heat from the heat generator to a heat exchanger, so that air or process gas can be heated with it. The liquid-metal circuit is divided into several modular individual circuits, in which the liquid metal is circulated by pure natural convection and the coolant temperature is at the boiling point of the liquid metal, in the region of about 1000@C to 1100@C. The individual circuits each consist of a loop of piping 1 in which the section 10 giving off the heat to the heater tube 4 is located at a greater, geodetically safe height than the other section 7 which absorbs the heat inside the boiler wall 2. <IMAGE> |
