PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation cover for a stud weld pin that can effectively insulate a necessary portion on an outer peripheral surface of a stud weld pin and can effectively inhibit or prevent the stud weld pin from dropping off even when the stud weld pin and a metallic base are disconnected from each other due to fracture of the stud weld pin, etc.SOLUTION: An insulation cover 10 for a stud weld pin comprises: a cylindrical portion 14 through which a leg portion 34 of the stud weld pin 30 is inserted; a cover body portion 12 arranged to cover a head portion 34 of the stud weld pin 30; and a lock portion 16 that is integrally protruded from the side face of the cylindrical portion 14 and engages with a covered material 44 when inserted into the covered material 44 to prevent the cylindrical portion 14 from dropping off from the covered material 44. The cover body portion 12, the cylindrical portion 14, and the lock portion 16 are integrally formed by an insulation material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
