This prosthesis is formed, on the one hand, by a calcanean element (14) consisting of a convex plate (14a) having generatrices parallel to those of the calcaneo-astragaloid ligament (4), and fitted between the astragalus (2) and the calcaneo-astragaloid ligament (4), and means (14c) for fixation in the calcaneum, and, on the other hand, by an astralgar element (13) consisting of a concave plate (13a), of the same curvature and size as the convex plate of the calcanean element (14), and means (13c) for fixation in the astragalus, and, in addition, a sliding element (15) consisting of a plate in the form of a tile which is inserted between the two plates (13a) and (14a) of the two elements (13-14) and is connected to one of these plates.
