PURPOSE:To make dye images transferred from an ink sheet by thermal transfer method highly sensitive and densified and excellent in light resistance without being stuck to the ink sheet by heat sealing, and to make high-speed printing possible by a method wherein an image acceptance layer contains, as its principal ingredient, a compound made up of a specific polycarbonate diol, thermoplastic saturated polyester resin and at least one kind of material selected out of polymer resin containing vinyl chloride. CONSTITUTION:An image acceptance layer which accepts dye images migrating by heating from an ink sheet contains, as its principal ingredient, a compound made up of at least one kind, of polycarbonate diol expressed by a formula attached herewith, thermoplastic saturated polyester resin, and at least one kind of material selected out of polymer resin containing vinyl chloride. In the formula, R and R stand for at least one member selected, being independent of others, out of aliphatic diol monomer residue and aromatic diol monomer residue, and (n) stands for an integer of at least 2. |
