PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber structure excellent in abrasion resistance, improved in the coefficient of friction and environmental stability and excellent in hang-up properties and grip properties by mixing the staple fibers exposed from the surface of rubber with rubber. CONSTITUTION:A rubber structure 1 is formed into a doughnut disc shape from a sheet like base material composed of rubber and mixed with staple fibers 3 and the staple fibers 3 are oriented in the right-angled direction (thickness direction) with respect to the surface of the base material 2 to be exposed from the surface 2a of the base material 2. The staple fibers 3 are embedded in the base material 2 in a depth of 0.1mm or more at the base end parts 3a thereof and exposed from the surface 2a of the base material by 0.01-1.00mm at the leading end parts thereof. The embedding length of the staple fibers 3 into the base material, that is, the length of the base end parts 3a is 0.1mm or more and the ratio of the staple fibers in the direction crossing the surface 2a of the base material at a right angle is set to 50% or more and the occupying area of the staple fibers in the surface 2a of the base material is set to 2-60%. |
