摘要 PURPOSE:To restrain expansion of sheet due to heat during formation to improve heating efficiency by a method wherein, when non-woven material produced from reinforcing fiber and thermoplastic resin as principal components by papermaking technology is heated, pressed and cooled to produce molding material, the non-woven material is mechanically pressed under specified pressure in advance. CONSTITUTION:A non-woven material is pressed at the softening point or lower, or at the melting temperature or lower of a thermoplastic resin of the material, wherein, the effect of pressing is produced when the surface pressure exceeds 5kgf/cm<2> or line pressure exceeds 10kgf/cm<2> and as the pressing force increases, the effect is enhanced; however, in order to avoid fracture of reinforcing fibers, it is preferable to keep surface pressure at 200kgf/cm<2> or lower, or line pressure at 300kgf/cm<2> or lower. As mechanical pressing methods, roll pressing utilizing one or plurality of rolls 14 or belt 15 of double belt conveyor continuous press or roll pressing through caterpillar can be employed. By pressing treatment, spring back of the reinforcing fibers during heating can be restrained, enabling uniform heating of sheet.
