PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the power consumption of a communication device.SOLUTION: A base station 2 includes a plurality of processing cards, a plurality of fans A-G, and CNT cards of CNT-1 to CNT-6 corresponding to a CNT unit. The plurality of processing cards are arranged at positions different from each other and perform processing of communication. The plurality of fans A-G are arranged at positions different from each other correspondingly to the plurality of processing cards, and cool the plurality of processing cards. The CNT unit monitors each of processing loads on the plurality of processing cards, and individually controls the respective revolution numbers of the plurality of fans on the basis of the monitored processing loads.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
