<p>The invention relates to piloting systems for aircraft. The invention resides in the fact that, with the aid of aircraft manoeuvring equations, the first and second derivatives <IMAGE> and beta v of the manoeuvring parameters Vp, phi v, sigma a, beta v, alpha of the aircraft are calculated in a computer 34, and that the values thus calculated are compared with those calculated with the aid of the values of the said parameters Vp, phi v, sigma a, beta v, and alpha at the instants t, (t+dt) and (t+2dt).
