PURPOSE:To improve a fixing property and maintain a stable charge control characteristic under various circumstances by making distribution of molecular amount of at least vinyl resin include specific binding resin and magnetic powder, and a specified amount of vinyl resin fine particles with its average diameter being specified. CONSTITUTION:0.01-2wt.% of vinyl resin fine particles including binding resin of at least vinyl binder resin, magnetic powder and resin fine particles is contained, wherein weight % of molecular component up to 500-20000 in the distribution of molecular amount by the GPC(gel permeation chromatography) measurement THC soluble amount of the binding resin is 50-80%, and the average particle diameter is 0.03-1.0mum. The vinyl resin fine particles exist thereby on the surface of magnetic toner effectively, which serves as spacers to prevent generation of bad effect of the low molecular polymer component of binding resin in the toner caused by uneveness on the surface of sleeve. It is thus possible to improve a fixing property at a low temperature and maintain a stable developing characteristic even under different circumstances. |
