<p>A pharmaceutical preparation for the pernasal administration of a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) to patients conveniently without being accompanied by any pain; and a method for increasing leukocytes and a treatment of infectious diseases by using the same. Although G-CSF has a molecular weight of as high as about 19,000, the preparation can be readily absorbed into the body by pernasal administration and hence is expected to be effective in treating leukopenia, in particular neutropenia.</p> |
