The headlamp washer (4) includes a nozzle holder (16) associated with means for supplying washer liquid (10) and connected to a piston (14, 15) mounted so as to slide inside a cylinder (5) fixed to a part (3) of the structure of the vehicle. The piston (14, 15) produced in telescopic form includes a first piston element (14) on which is fixed the nozzle holder (16) mounted so as to slide in an axial direction, inside a second piston element (15), itself mounted so as to slide in the cylinder (5) in the axial direction. The piston (14, 15) is returned to the retracted position inside the cylinder (5) by elastic return means (18, 19). The piston elements (14, 15) are moved between a retracted position inside the part (3) of the structure of the vehicle and an in-use position outside the part (3) of the structure by the pressurised washer liquid introduced into the chamber of the cylinder (5). <IMAGE>
