A tackifier composition comprises copolymer salt (A) obtained by adding alkali metal or amino alcohol to copolymer composing of 30- 100 mole% acrylic acid (or methacrylic acid) alkyl ester and 10-70 mole% polymerizable monomer selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, itaconic acid or maleic acid, and plasticizer (B) selected from polyether polyol or 3-6 valent alcohol having a molecular weight of more than 600. The weight ratio of (A) and (B) is 100:200. The composition can be easily and perfectly removed from the adhered by dissolving or swelling with water, because the composition is water soluble.
