The H2 generator has a diffusion container permeable to H2 but not to O2 at the thermal dissociation temp. of steam. Water is heated in the diffusion container to its' dissociation temp. and H2 diffuses through the container wall to be removed. A second transparent container surrounds the diffusion container with a space between the containers to allow removal of H2.
