Method for revealing erythrocyte agglutinates permitting, in a single stage, the separation of the agglutinates from the free red blood corpuscles and the revelation of the said agglutinates. After incubation, the reaction mixture, arranged in an open tube, is subjected to a percolation over an inert phase by forcing the flow of the mobile phase, the inert phase consisting of microspheres of a chemically inert polymer having a diameter between 0.25 and 0.40 mu m and the tube being equipped at its lower end with a filter having an average mesh opening of 20 to 50 mu m, the flow of the mobile phase being forced by means of an absorbent consisting of a cellulose material with a high water retention capacity, arranged in contact with the filter, or by means of a device making it possible to create a vacuum (reduced pressure) in a chamber placed in contact with the filter.
