The subject of the present invention is methods for transferring inks from a previously inked medium to another medium. The methods according to the invention consist in transferring these inks by placing the previously inked medium or the destination medium for the inks in contact with the liquid or vapour phase of a halogenated solvent, then by placing the previously inked medium in contact with the destination medium. Perchloroethylene is preferably used, with the formula CL2C=C CL2. One application is printing and marking of fabrics, of stone or of wood.
