The boiler shutter has a security catch. The roller shutter sections (7), operate over a lifting lever (5). This lever is held down, and the roller shutter locked, by a cable (4) connection. This cable connects to a tensioning device (16) mounted on a plate (3). The roller shutter drive belt (8) is led over a roller (9) connected to the tensioning device (16). Thus when the belt is moved and the roller attempts to operate, the lever (5) is held and the shutter is held closed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be positioned anywhere on the internally exposed drive belt. Simple to install excavators.
