The multilayer plastic or elastomeric product is in the form of a board (1, 1') consisting of a superposition of at least two sheets (2, 3) of material. The sheets (2, 3) are superposed with an offset of one with respect to the other in order to form, on at least one side, at least one bearing surface (5, 5') intended to be covered by the complementary adjacent board (1'). The joining of at least two products (1, 1') by partial overlap of a product on the juxtaposed product makes it possible to obtain a flat composite (complex) structure, possibly of large size. The overlapping parts of the two juxtaposed elements may possibly be solidly fastened to each other by any suitable means (adhesive, melting (fusion-bonding) or other means).
