PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch unit holding mechanism and a punch processing apparatus such that the position of a punch can be adjusted without removing a pad from a die.SOLUTION: A retainer 4 holds a piercing punch unit 2, a pad 5 holds the retainer 4, and the holding position of the retainer 4 at the pad 5 is adjusted with a shim plate 6. A through hole 40 is formed in the retainer 4 and the piercing punch unit 2 is inserted into and fixed in the through hole 40; and a through hole 50 formed larger than the external shape of the retainer 4 at least in a vertical direction Y is bored in the pad 5, and the retainer 4 is inserted into the through hole 50. The shim plate 6 having a desired plate thickness is interposed between a first plate contact surface 45 of the retainer 4 and a second plate contact surface 53 of the through hole 50, and the position of the retainer 4 in the through hole 50 is adjusted. Consequently, a blade part 202 of the punch 20 is positioned relatively to a die 33 and the retainer 4 is fixed to the pad 5. |
