TRANSCEIVER SYSTEM FOR BOTH MU-LAW AND A-LAW SIGNAL

The apparatus is for transmitting and receiving R2 MFC/ DTME/CCT/TONE signal operated by U-law or A-law by adopting firmwares according to kind of relay lines. The apparatus comprises a T-D bus interfacing unit (1) for interfacing the system to external duplicated control unit through T-D bus, a controller (2) for generating signals according to function data transmitted from an external controller and for transmitting signal generated by external time switch to an external control unit, a transmitter (3) for generating signal according to U and A law and for transmitting the signal to an external time switch, a receiver (4) for converting companding PCM signal transmitted from an external time switch linearly, and a sub-highway interface unit (5) for interfacing the system to an external time switch.
