PURPOSE:To accurately position an electrode by using a simple device by providing a groove of a width thicker than a lead on a part to be formed with the electrode, placing the lead in the groove, and applying a force reversely to an extended part of the lead extended outside the groove along a lateral direction of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A groove 11 is so formed in width thicker than an outer diameter of a lead 13 as to be formed from one end face 12a to the other end face 12b of an electronic component element 12. Then, the lead 13 having first, second extended parts 13a, 13b extended out of the element 12 is placed in the groove 11. Then, a jig 17 coupled with pins 15, 16 at its base end side, is prepared, and so inserted that the pins 15, 16 are disposed at both sides of the lead 13. The jig 17 is rotated in a direction of an arrow B, the lead 13 is pressed by the pins 15, 16, and both ends of the part 13c of the lead 13 are brought into contact with the sidewalls 11b, 11c of the groove 11. Accordingly, the part 13c of the lead 13 is so positioned as to pass the center of the bottom 11a of the groove 11, i.e., the center of an electrode 14. |
