The conventional textured yarn has the drawback of lowered total crimp property of less than 10 % during aftertreatment process or usage, not maintaining its initial stretchability, that is total crimp property of more than 15 %. This drawback is improved by heat-treating the false-twisted textured yarn of twist number 50-500 T/M under the tension of below 0.1 g/De' at 80-150 deg.C during dyeing or pretreatment process to make highly crimped dyed yarn with total crimp above 15 % which maintains its original high total crimp property during after treatment process.
