The trocar sleeve (1) described is capable of receiving rigid, bent auxiliary instruments (4) and is designed so as to be flexible at least over part of its length, so that its shape can be adapted by elastic bending, but also without kinking, to the curvatures of the auxiliary instruments (4). The flexibility coupled with the kinking resistance is achieved by designing the trocar sleeve (1) with projections (12) on its outer circumference, which projections may be helical and bring about improved holding of the trocar sleeve (1) in the puncture wound against unintentional slipping-out.
