The present invention relates to a device for supplying electric power by contact with a contact brush (slide) as well as a process for manufacturing such a device. The device (1) comprises an electrically-conducting mounting body (2) coated, with a view to contacting the contact brush (slide) (6), an electrically-conducting wear film (3) comprising an electrically-conducting material having a Vickers hardness value at least equal to 1000 and a melting point at least equal to 2000 DEG C.
