The circuit turns off a PC after backing up the contents of a hard disk to a back-up tape automatically even when a user turns off a PC without backup. It includes a power switch (SW1) controlled by relays (RL1,RL2), for the output terminals (IO1,IO2) of an I/O outputter (A) to maintain high-level state until backup is completed.
