Appts. for positioning a functional component within one plane has a motor-driven adjusting device with an axis of rotation at right angles to the plane concerned and a motor-driven radially adjusting member counted on it to actually move the component. A preferred functional component for use by the equipment is a pouring head for encapsulating electrical or electronic components. A pouring head (14) is e.g. moved over a plate and is inside a vacuum cylinder (10). Its scope is a circle whose dia. is the diagonal of the plate. It has a moving arm (16) in a ring (18) with other arms (e.g. 30) at 120 deg. to each other. The latter have end rollers (32) for movement on the ring (26). A stepped motor with a friction wheel (38) engages a ring so that the arm (16) is moved circumferentially. ADVANTAGE - The equipment saves much space. It is ideally suitable for circular apparatus or layouts.
