TITLE: COMBINATION LAPAROSCOPIC ELECTROSURGICAL INSTRUMENT AND PROBE A combination laparoscopic electrosurgical instrument and probe and method of using same are disclosed. An instrument head is carried on an electrode and is selectively moveable between expanded and retracted positions to permit the device to be used as a probe when the electrode is completely retracted. A fluid passageway also is provided for irrigation/suction purposes.
