A method for pushing multimedia information and a terminal. The method comprises: establishing a wireless local area network connection with a second terminal; acquiring multimedia information bound with the second terminal; and after it is determined that an update exists in the acquired multimedia information bound with the second terminal according to a form change of the multimedia information bound with the second terminal, sending a communication instruction indicating the update to the second terminal via the established wireless local area network connection, so as to remind the second terminal of the update existing in the multimedia information bound with the second terminal. The method and the terminal improve the flexibility of information pushing and the accuracy of information positioning. |
