PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic powder having superior corrosion resistance, rust preventiveness, dispersibility and magnetic characteristics by blowing a basic gas and an acidic gas into magnetic metallic powder. CONSTITUTION:The basic gas and the acidic gas are simultaneously blown into magnetic metallic powder, the basic gas and the acidic gas are successively blown, or the acidic gas and the basic gas are successively blown. Ammonia or one or more kinds of amines each having >=120 deg.C b.p. are used as the basic gas. One or more among CO2, NO2, SO2 and air are used as the acidic gas. |
