The make-up cosmetic pigment is produced by (a) mixing an iron oxide, as an inorganic coloring matter, of red iron oxide, ferric oxide or black iron oxide with a mica, (b) adding a purified water to the mixt., agitating the mixt. in the homogemixer at 2000-4000 rpm for 30 min, and stressing the particular surface to obtain a coat pigment, (c) adding a methylhydrogene polysiloxane as an silicon oil to the coat pigment, and stressing the mixt., and (d) drying and heat-treating it at 80-120 deg.C for 2 hr. The pigment has a good fluidity, adhesiveness and water resistance.
