Each cover (15) in its closure position is fixable by a releasable lock arrangement (17) on the corresp. box (16). Each lock arrangement has a closure tab (18) which works by spring tension to snap into the lock position and in conjunction with a lock pin (19) on the box (16). Each cover also has a bearer grip (22), which is lowered into the cover area and is therefore integrated in the container periphery. The locking (27,28) for each box (16) is provided independently and comprises a step lock (24) linked to the base body frame (11) and engaging on the box. The step lock is formed on the base body as a one-piece structure and is tensioned in the lock position by its own spring tension. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rubbish container with relatively low material input and improved handling capacity.
