The motor parameter detector for vertebrate animals including humans consists of sensors and a data memory. At least two sensors (1, 11) are attached to the body for isochronous and motion-correlative signal generation. One of the sensors detects acceleration and is connected to pulse width discriminators (B, E, N) to select the timing of its output signals. The other sensor detects body position and is connected to a motion pattern logic circuit (N10) in series with the discriminators. The logic circuit is connected to balancing data stores whose number depends on the number of motion patterns. Pref. the two sensors are attached to separate parts of the test animal. ADVANTAGE - Min. intrusion in normal animal activity. Avoids direct contact between body part product specific motion pattern and sensor registering motion pattern.
