PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode, capable of improving quality accuracy of a thickness of an active material or the like in a sheet electrode by preventing a granulation particle from adhering to a squeegee.SOLUTION: A coating process section of a device for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode comprises: a particle supply unit 10 which supplies a granulation particle P containing a binder to an upper surface of a current collecting foil L1; a squeegee 20 which quantitates the granulation particle P supplied to the upper surface of the current collecting foil L1 by the particle supply unit 10; and a cooling device 30 which cools the squeegee 20 to a temperature not higher than an atmospheric temperature. |
