<p>The invention relates to a multistandard observation camera equipped with a detector including photosensitive elementary sensors arranged in repeated and/or offset rows, with a clock sequencer (22) arranged in the plane of the detector (20), this clock sequencer (22) serving to control the transfers of charges of the sensors in a CCD type reading circuit (24) so as to deliver a video signal compatible with the standard of the display monitor. The clock sequencer (22) comprises programmable counting means defining the periods of integration and of transfer of the charges in the reading circuit (24), these counting means being programmed by a link (28) with a memory (25) containing the data required for defining several standards.
