<p>A slot machine incorporates a coin dispenser (23), which has a discharging section (25) which discharges a coin toward a discharging slot. A sensor (29) is arranged at the discharging slot, and generates a detecting signal when detecting a coin. A counter (47) counts the detecting signal, to generate a count signal. A pay-out controller (45) drives the discharging section in accordance with a pay-out signal, and stops the discharging section from actuation, to complete the pay-out when a count value comes to be a predetermined number of coins to be paid out. If the detecting signal is received before receiving the pay-out signal, the pay-out controller keeps the discharging section from actuation, to protect the slot machine from a player's fraud. If the detecting signal is received before receiving the pay-out signal or after completing the pay-out, the pay-out controller signals an error. A blocking plate (32) is arranged to close the discharging slot (31). When pushed by the passing coin, the plate is displaced to be open to allow the coin to pass. <IMAGE></p> |
