PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of automatically securing a water level sufficient for immersing the whole electrode in water when generating electrolytic water.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrode unit 1 which can be disposed in water to be electrolyzed 5. The electrode unit comprises first and second electrodes 6 and 7 and an electrode chamber 8 for accommodating the first electrode. An introduction pipe 30, an exhaust mechanism 31 and a first diaphragm 12 are provided in the electrode chamber. The introduction pipe has an inlet part 30a, an outlet part 30b and an intermediate part 30c. The inlet part is positioned on the outside of the electrode chamber and the outlet part is positioned on the inside of the electrode chamber. The inlet part is opened at a position higher than the outlet part along the gravity direction. The intermediate part is extended via a position higher than the inlet part and the outlet part. The inlet part is opened at a position higher than the first and second electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
