PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and a storage, which can achieve both the visibility of an image and the visibility of an article disposed at the depth side of the image.SOLUTION: An image display device includes a liquid crystal portion 17 disposed between a front surface 2a and a rear surface 2b, a light guide plate 30 that is disposed between the front surface 2a and the rear surface 2b and irradiates the liquid crystal portion 17 with light entering from an edge light 40 as backlight, a transmissive liquid crystal display 10 that allows light to transmit between the front surface 2a and the rear surface 2b, and a backlight blocking portion that blocks the irradiation with the backlight from a part of the liquid crystal portion 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
