PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing processing device which matches exposure data generated as a result of writing processing with each other regardless of the number of started LDs, and reduces a difference between images to be output onto paper.SOLUTION: A writing control device includes: writing processing units (210 and 220) for generating exposure data 650 used for light emission for writing from pixel data (604 and 608); and a light emission section 240 for emitting light according to the exposure data 650. The light emission section 240 has one or more light emission elements, and one light emission element emits light at predetermined timing by one exposure data. The writing processing units (210 and 220) subject a predetermined amount of pixel data (604 and 608) to writing processing regardless of the number of light emission elements for emitting the light, and generate the exposure data 650. The writing control device sets a delay adjustment amount so that a time after the pixel data (604 and 608) has been received until the light emission is completed becomes constant regardless of the number of LDs, and waits until the set period has passed without starting generation of the exposure data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
